The Skykomish River Watershed Council & Community Rights (SRWC & CR) was created in response to the urgency of climate and ecological crises and government failure to respond to them. 

The organization is working toward protecting our watershed and ecosystem by connecting and empowering our community in the pursuit of local democratic self-determination in matters of our fundamental rights, natural environment, quality of life, health and safety. 

Our goals are to improve the health and safety of our community, families, kids, watershed and ecosystem, toward protecting our fundamental rights to clean water and a healthy environment by banning toxic use / spraying and massive destructive practices in the Skykomish River Watershed and by passing and enforcing the Skykomish River Watershed, Ecosystem Bill of Rights.
